Now I am here with my book*_*
Hi everyone, I am Dieu, welcome to my blog of reading class! I decided to choose the book named "Here and Now" as a book for my reading everyday because it is really a meaningful book. It is a novel of Kimberla Lawson, the bestselling author of Behind Closed Doors about the life of a girl, Marcella. She was a good student and she always got the highest scores in her class. Like other girls, she fell in love with a hot boy in high school. Her life was changing since then. In "Here and Now", there are so many good experiences for people, especially young people like us. Nobody has a life without a mistake, but the important thing is to keep trying to get better. There is one speech in the novel I really like: " You always try to do the right thing, and you treat other people the way you want to be treated." Whether I have the behavior like that to people I meet every day?... I have just read 90 pages among 380 pages of the novel, but I really like it. I hope someday you will take the book and feel what I am feeling...

I'm glad you're enjoying your book and have read a lot of it!
I really like the part of the quote in your book that says "you treat other people the way you want to be treated." It's similar to a verse in the Bible that says: "Do to others as you would have them do to you."
I really like this concept, but it can be hard to love others selflessly...

The more I read "Here and now", the more I like it. Have you ever heard "Two wrong don`t make a right"? To me, I heard this speech so many times but I haven`t had deep awareness of its truly meaning before I read the book. Sometimes although you know that you are doing something on the wrong way, you keep doing just because you don`t want to accept that you are not right. You are stubborn at the time. Marcella and her older sister was arguing so strongly that they hurted each other`s feelings. They had never done like that before. In a moment, the good relationship between them seemed to be broken. But I think their problem will be solved in next chapters as soon as possible. "Love is borned, everything else is learned". They were really good sisters and they loved to each other so much, so maybe they were learning and experiencing the behavior to each other.
